Soor Fuel Marketing shareholders on Sunday approved raising the company's capital from KWD 38.544 million to KWD 40.471 million through issuing of bonus shares, according to a bourse statement.

Soor saw net profits of KWD 1.46 million for the first quarter of 2015, compared with KWD 1.10 million for the same period of the previous year, a 32.7% increase.

The Kuwaiti listed firm is capitalised at KWD 38.54 million, distributed across 385.4 million shares at 100 Kuwaiti fils par value each.
